Newcastle vs Manchester United LIVE early team news, pundit predictions and score updates

Manchester United are finally back in action on Monday night when they travel to face Newcastle in the Premier League as St. James’ Park.

Ralf Rangnick will be taking charge of only his fourth United match tonight after games against Brentford and Brighton were both postponed at the beginning of the current festive fixture schedule.

United have won their last four Premier League games against Newcastle, their longest such run against them since a run of five between 2004 and 2006, while the Reds have also won both of their two league games so far under Rangnick.

In terms of early team news, Paul Pogba is the only long-term absentee with Raphael Varane and Edinson Cavani both in contention to make their return from injury against Newcastle.
