April 21 – Close of nominations, noon
April 22 – Declaration of nominations, noon
May 9 – Start of early voting
May 21 – Election day
June 28 – Return of writs deadline
OTHER DATES
* Pre-election Economic and Fiscal Outlook report (PEFO) must be issued within 10 days of writs.
* The new parliament must meet within 30 days of the day appointed for the return of the writs.
