Building product firm, certifier, fined over air barrier claims


Masons Plastabrick’s building wrap product was not standard compliant.

Masons Barricade wrap was found to be unsuitable as an air barrier.

Two companies have been stung with fines totalling $450,000 for making false claims about the air resistance of a building wrap product.
